Matthew is a data science consultant, author for Pluralsight, international public speaker, a Microsoft MVP, ASPInsider, and open-source software contributor. Over the past 18 years, he’s taught over 100,000 developers and IT professionals how to make better decisions with data science. His clients include small software startups to Fortune 100 companies around the globe.

His focus includes data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is also the creator of several popular open-source software projects including Data Explorer, an interactive data visualization tool.

A graduate of Iowa State University, he holds degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and minor in Economics.

He currently lives in Las Vegas, NV — where he awaits the AI dawn.
